This classic contemporary interior design by Pietro Carlo Pellegrini brings new life on an old attic of a historic building located in Lucca, Italy. An urban-style living room is occupied by two plush sofa – a royal blue “Mex Cube Sofa” by designer Piero Lissoni and bright white Philippe Starck “private” bank – overlooking the pièce de résistance, a black Bisazza mosaic wall of Napoleon dubbed, designed by Carlo Dal Bianco. Light oak floors and an exposed-beam white-painted ceiling give the space a Scandinavian style. Through deceptively small windows, natural light filters through gauzy white curtains and flooding of this large area. The kitchen is enclosed behind an ultra-modern folding glass wall. White cabinets along the walls and left in the middle, a black table-style island offers prep space, a stove and a dining area. An intriguing blue-lit hallway leads you from the living and dining area to the bedrooms. The master suite is a dreamy room with a cool, white room by Jean Marie Massaud LIPL Cloud and end tables by Piero Lissoni.
